Since its premiere, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion has collected numerous awards and accolades. At the sixth annual Tokyo Anime Awards held at the 2007 Tokyo International Anime Fair, Code Geass won the best TV anime series award. In noted Japanese anime magazine Animage's 29th and 30th Annual Anime Grand Prix, Code Geass won the most popular series award, with Lelouch Lamperouge also being chosen as the most popular male character and "Colors" being chosen as the most popular song. At the first Seiyū Awards held in 2007, Jun Fukuyama won the award for best actor in a leading role for his performance as Lelouch Lamperouge in the series, while Ami Koshimizu won the award for best actress in a supporting role for her performance as Kallen Stadtfeld. Furthermore, Code Geass won the award for Best TV Animation at the twelfth Animation Kobe event, held annually in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture.
Of course this was all R1 the first season which ends with a cliffhanger and continues on in the second season which is now at episode 8 and is much better....you know an anime is popular when the second season had like 4 trailers O.o and starts in such a mysterious way...

After watching Naruto once, I vowed to never watch an anime again. _________________

I was asking for TV ratings because I'm curious to see if the anime is popular with viewers or not. _________________ "Anything that humans can imagine is a possibility in reality" - Physicist Willy Karen

ahh it's really popular...to the rate that many anti-fanboys were annoyed..like melachony of haruhi(don't see why everyone likes it so much still>_<I watched ti and it was okay..)
Of course mainly in japan..it came to adultswim on primetime(first time ever)a few weeks ago?(I think it's been a month..)so it will become popular..
here's 2 amvs quite nice:first one is from r1 which consisted of 23 episodes+an hour finale..(ep 24/25) and second one are a few scenes up to r2 episode 6(mainly episode 6..)only 8 released so far..

Anime is but an entertainment to the mind, as are games. Anyone sending words of hate towards one of them just because another likes it makes them foolish and ignorant.
