360 to get Alone in the Dark demo in JuneA demo for Alone in the Dark is due to hit the Marketplace around the same time as the game is expected to launch, according to a moderator on the Atari forum.
According to comments made by forum admin Tenebra on the Atari forums, 360 owners can look forward to a demo of Eden Studios’ forthcoming horror epic “at around launch” time for the full game, which is currently pencilled in for 20 June.
The same user caused a bit of a stir yesterday by saying that the demo would actually appear during May for PC and 360, and that a PS3 demo was planned as well.
He later denied this was the case, claiming that he had been “given incorrect information” and that he was unable to confirm when the other formats would get the demo.
With the PS3 version of Alone in the Dark still without a firm release date, we’d have been surprised to see a demo of it this soon.
For PC owners though, who are due to receive the game on the same day as 360 and Wii fans, this could potentially be a big disappointment, so hopefully Atari won’t leave them waiting too long.
Alone in the Dark is due out on PC, 360 and Wii on 20 June, with the PS3 version to follow later this year. And it looks rather stunning.

Yeah, and did you see the video where you can like throw a packet of blood and watch as the "things" flock to it? Or make a trail of gasoline and then set it on fire? That's brilliant. ^_^

I heard that Far Cry wasn't that good of a game, but I never played it.
I can't wait until Alone In THe Dark Though! I just hope it's not scary...Like that creepy game...F.E.A.R or something? Never played it but, I watched friends play. Creepy as...well, creepy.

Farcry is like crysis all about being the stepping stone to future gaphics....lots of emphasis is put on environment interaction in alone in the dark although I hope the plot also lives up to expectations...

Who ever told you Far Cry sucks....should suck my ************** (you'll never guess)
One of the BEST PC games of 2004. Now Far Cry 2 is gonna beat Crysis Graphics wise.. (crysis has the best game graphics in the world atm)....And Alone in the Dark Demo better come on PC...I know the retail game is.

Actually nope. Crysis was made by Crytek and Far Cry 2 is made by Ubisoft...Crytek though originally made Far Cry ...then gave the rights to Ubisoft, the publisher, to developer the next one. It's still Crytek's vision and stuff...they just aren't doing anything.
