I have recently emulated this game and I have one thing to say, it's [mod edit] hell. I'm playing the game on freaking Easy and I'm struggling with it. There are enemies everywhere. From the top of the screen, infront of you, behind you, beneath you, and off screen enemies hooting at you. WTF?

Then after I beat level 1, I go to level 2 and things get fucked up even more. I get to face these little zombies that if I don't kill them they will explode shooting these little greeny sh1t at me. Then there are some other fast crawling zombies that hunt me down like dogs.

What happens after that? I don't know because I die way too many times that I don't want to know what will happen next.

I discovered after you beat the game once, you unlock two old Contra games and 40 challenges that you can complete.

Stage 2 Boss is [mod edit] SH1T. I can't beat him. He [mod edit] wasted 3 of my lives and I only begin with 5 to last me the entire 9 Stages of the game. And I'm playing on Easy.

Oh btw, are you using the konami code? It gives leik 30 lives....at least it did in the original game.

I'm getting an R4 soon, don't have one yet. Maybe in Fall when my PC is finished and I get a 360.

I made to Stage 4. [mod edit] YA. So happy.

But sadly, Stage 4 boss beat the [mod edit] out of before I even hit him once.
