Dead Space Banned from China, Japan, and Germany - ConfirmedWe reported earlier that EA's survival horror game Dead Space has been banned in China, Germany and Japan. Apparently, there was some contention by GamePolitics as to whether the title was actually banned, noting, amongst other things, that EA had not responded to the news. Well, they just did. EA, in an e-mail to X3F last week, stated that "Dead Space was banned from being sold in Japan, Germany, and China!"
Furthermore, one of the developer's alleged Twitter confirms this as well. "I just confirmed with upper management that Dead Space is banned in China, Germany and Japan. Not a rumor folks ... it's true." To us, whether it was banned or not in those countries doesn't matter much -- we are pretty psyched for this game anyway. What about you?
