I'm not talking about the forums. HCG forums are one of the best forums I have seen. Very well done and there are a lot of helpful members. However I'm talking about the main website. This http://www.hardcoregamer.co.nr/ .

Now here is the main problem. the website isn't getting updated. I don't care about the main page, which the updates comes from Megagames. I'm tlaking about th eother pages. For the consoles and the PC pages. All what we have is a list of games and number of hits beside it. Really, I don't think anyone cares about it. Hec, there aren't even any news on these pages. No articles, no reviews, and no previews. Not even pictures. Seriously we need more of these stuff.

The Videos/Trailers section. That page isn't getting updated and it's even from Megagames too. How about you try to add some more stuff into.

The only thing that I find very well done, is the Emulator pages. these are very well done with nice informations and links for downloads.

What can you do? Simple. Try to get more people to update the website. Now I'm assuming that the Admin is the only one who has access to the website, so he is the only one who can update it. I know it's a hard work to update a whol website by yourself. I have tried it before and it looked impossible to me.

Now since you are using Freewebs, it will be easy to explain. Admin, you know how when you go to the site manager, you can add pages to your website. Now these pages are all under your control and you are the only one who can edit them. Now you can also add links. For links, you can use them to create new pages just like you did with Uniqueentstudio. You created a whole new website for it instead of making it a page. Now how about you do that for the consoles sections like PS3/360/Wii and so on. For each console make a new website. However these new pages aren't under your control. You give each one to a memeber who you trust. You and that member are the only one who can edit the new website. This way, you will get people who can help you edit sections of the website.

I'm not sure if the above paragraphy was clear and you got the idea I was talking about.

Also since the Admin knows html and maybe css, how about you switch the hosting. Since Freewebs doesn't give a lot of space.

Anyway, I'm done now.

Have you tried asking people in gaming forums about volunteering and writting reviews/previews for your website?

I didn't mean giving them websites for themself to update. I meant writting articles for you and then you upload them.

Have you though of switching web hosting? Maybe something else that gives more space and more files uploading space.

I've thought about it and tried. There was one called 50Megs and it was the best I found and it sucked [mod edit] compared to Freewebs. Freewebs happens to be the BEST free host out there, unfortunately!

If I'm correct you are using pre made templates. Since your skills in HTML and CSS are good, you could try to find another webhost that doesn't make you use pre made templates.

There is a list for free webhosting websites, I will look for it and give it to you.

Yah. I can easily design mind boggling Flash and Heavy Animation templates. I made a few before. But people could never load them. It always had to load the percentage bar. LOL!

Well the webmaster himself said that this is what he cares about: 10% layout/visual and 90% contents.

Just in case you didnt notice the website is dedicated to games made by Nintendo.

Anyway, I just gave this example to show you that using HTML/CSS to make websites is important and better than pre-made templates. Plsu you don't need nice visuals to make your website good.

So are you planning to swtich? It's really easy and doesn't take long time. heck even I can use HTML to make websites now.

LOL. It's gonna be lots of hard work though. On my end. I will do it but gotta go back and read my pap's HTML books to remember all my colour codes LOL!
