EVE-OnlineEVE-Online... completely worth the 16 or so dollars Canadian I pay monthly for it. I mean, who wouldn't want to fly a huge ship around blowing [mod edit] up?http://myeve.eve-online.com/screenshots/?screenID=12267 But there's more to this game then killing stuff and advancing to a bigger and better (not always better) ship. You can move along any career path you choose, be it miner, ship and item builder, industrial hauler, mercenary, pirate, mision-runner.... too many to list! One of the great redeeming qualities of this game is the ability to do whatever you want, when ever you want. There are four main races, Caldari, Minmatar, Gallente, and Ammar. They all split into races that make up the main one from there in. There is another, secretive race, that is extremely rare to actually see in game. The ingame market is mostly driven by player created items as well as buyin and selling. Unlike games such as Runescape or WOW, there is no player above the rest (unless of course they've been on for years). MMO farmers sitting on their computers might get lots of money(Inter-Stellar Kredits in-game), but due to the timed skill training, noone can really be any better then you are. It takes brains to win it in this game, someone can have 30 million skill points, but if they don't know how to dodge torpedoes or set up a sweet ship, they won't get far. This game was by far the most addicting and the best to me out of all the MMORPG's, free or not.
