If you guys want, you can list your favourite homunuclus including GLUTTONY, WRATH, GREED, PRIDE (Fuher or aka King Bradley), LUST, SLOTH, AND ENVY. My favourite is greed cuz he is a good ladies man (lol) and also not only his he strong, they give him the nickname THE ULTIMATE DEFENCE but for the main characters I would have to pick Roy mustang aka The FLAME ALCHEMIST. He can make things explode and turn objects into flame just by snapping his fingers!

Edward and Alphonse Elric were children living in the rural village of Resembool in the country of Amestris. Their father, a talented alchemist, had left home when Edward was very young and Alphonse was still an infant. Years later, their mother, Trisha Elric, died of a terminal illness. After their mother's death, the two boys decided to attempt to revive their deceased mother using alchemy. They studied alchemy with a teacher and then used their father's books and notes that he had left behind to recreate a human transmutation circle. However, this attempt failed, costing Edward his left leg and Alphonse his entire body. In a desperate effort to save his brother, Edward sacrificed his right arm to affix his brother's soul to a suit of armor. After that, Edward's left leg and right arm are fitted with two sets of Automail, a type of advanced prosthetic limb. In the original Japanese, the term "Fullmetal" is used to describe a person who is stubborn. In the series it is often mistakenly attributed by minor characters to Ed's automail arm and leg, or Al's armor body.
A State Alchemist by the name of Roy Mustang arrives during the failed human transmutation in response to letters the boys had sent out seeking information about their father (in the hopes that they could get the attention of their father so that he would come home). (Note: This event occurred differently in the manga. In that version, Mustang was in charge of recruiting new State Alchemists after the disastrous events of Ishbal caused many State Alchemists to leave the military service in disgust. A typo in the military records sent Mustang to Risembool in search of "Edward Elric, age 31." He was dismayed to find a crippled 11 year old instead, but wound up making the recruitment offer anyway.) After seeing their skill at alchemy, Mustang suggested that the way for the two boys to achieve their goals would be to become State Alchemists and work for him. Spurred on by the man's proposal, Edward set out to become a State Alchemist, enabling him to use the resources available to State Alchemists to discover a way to restore what he and Alphonse had lost. The brothers eventually learn of the Philosopher's Stone and set off in search of it as a means to restore their bodies. Along the way they discover secrets about the Philosopher's Stone they never wanted to know; and, find other people who seek it as well, doing whatever it takes to get their hands on it.

Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi?, Alchemist of Steel), commonly abbreviated as FMA or Hagaren by fans, is a manga series created by Hiromu Arakawa and serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan. It has also been adapted into an anime TV series and a movie sequel, as well as several spin-off novels and video games.
The manga is still running in Japan, and 15 volumes have been released so far. The anime, on the other hand, is finished, and consists of 51 episodes and a full-length movie sequel. Both incarnations (the manga and the anime) have seen massive popularity in both Japan and North America; last year the anime was voted #1 best liked anime of all time in Japan in a September 2005 TV Asahi web poll.[1] It was put down for #1 again for 2006 in a recent poll.

Fullmetal Alchemist is equal to naruto............
|
Falkien

EQUAL lolFullmetal alchemist is definitely not equal not Naruto. Fullmetal Alchemist is better because it only has 51 episodes but still it conflicts with other manga/anime. Apparently you refer the Naruto being good compared to other anime i have seen Naruto is nothing. Escalflowne an anime i observed in the past is a similiar type anime the as Inuyasha but the girl can't go back to her realm fluently as Kagome in Inuyasha does. This anime is a very interesting and fascinating anime i recommend it. Fullmetal attacks use a science called Alchemy which refers to other anime like Yu-gi-oh Gx when he duels his teacher, WHO use alchemy to preserve his body. Naruto attacks come from within key parts of your body called Charka which make naruto impossible to understand why do u think in Naruto they explain by putting images when they talk about something such as Sharingan or Byakugan. Fullmetal Alchemist fillers are much more entertaining to than the Naruto ones. Fullmetal Alchemist fillers reflect on past battle or dangerous experiences.
Unfortunately, the naming for Fullmetal needs alot of work for example who names a person mustang after a horse, plus the character Scar he doesn't get the scar when he was born but just by the name you can predict that he will be really injured in battle to get a mark. Plus the voice attacking of Naruto and Fullmetal aren't that good Al's voice needs to be played by someone with a deeper voice. Naruto has the woriest voice player acting because it is very peculiar shows how beyond stupid he is.

NeverBashmo never watch anime on YTV. Because most of the one that are in english are ruined by production companies like 4kids tv or funimation. Actually funimation is the best producers and publisers of the anime. Funimation is acceptable, but 4kids tv ruined one piece and shaman king.
|
Phatkav
|
Funimation isn't the best.
However 4kids is the worst. They even said once that kids don't read.
They just admitted that kids are stupid and don't know how to read.
|
Badie05
|
Yes. Your right. Bionix isn't good because they have English dubbed animes and it's not original. The cast's voices get changed and that bugs people who watched in Japanese before!
|
bashmo
|
sabi is right about that, specially 4kids, come on, theres NO blood in One piece and no real weapons...they replace guns with toys! Funimation did Fullmetal alchemist, dragonballz, yu yu hakusho and more, and those three were greatly dubbed in terms on content...

Here's a run down of what's going on: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
The movie's story is set two years after the events of the Fullmetal Alchemist TV series's last episode. Dragged from his homeworld of Amestris to this world, Earth, Edward Elric lives in Munich, Germany, in the year of 1923. Stripped of his alchemical powers and some of his limbs, but not the attachments for his automail (from his previous journey through the Gate), he has spent all this time researching rocketry together with Alfons Heiderich, a young man who resembles his own brother.
Our Earth is a parallel world to Amestris, and as a result Edward encounters many people whose faces are familiar to him. After rescuing and taking in Noa, a troubled Roma woman, Edward is thrown in a series of events that opens him a path to return to his homeworld, and a conspiracy that can bring serious consequences to both worlds.
Unaware of Edward's situation, Alphonse Elric ventures deeper into the mysteries of alchemy in search of a way to reunite with his older brother.
The movie is set against the backdrop of the depression and economic collapse of Germany after World War I and the formation of the Nazi Party, notably the events leading up to and including the Beer Hall Putsch of 1923. The antagonists frequently make references to it, though the actual event and its key real-life figures (including Adolf Hitler) and its aftermath are only shown in fleeting shots.
