Gamecube Emulators and ROMsThis is a topic I made for people who are interested in Gamecube emulators and ROMs. As far as I know, there is only one commercial emulator that works, and unfortunately it is in its beta stages and while it can run commercial games, they do not run perfectly, and run even worse on crappy computers.The emulator is called "Dolphin", and you can go to the official site at: http://www.dolphin-emu.com As for the ROMs, they have some on their site, and I have not downloaded any yet. I will update everyone on whether these ROMs actually run well or not. Or you can download them yourself. Please post your comments and thoughts on Dolphin and Gamecube ROMs here. Thanks. -Zaktom |

Just to let you know, I have a "Super Smash Bros Melee" gcm/iso file that I'm downloading via uTorrent. I'll post updates on how well it runs on Dolphin

yeah heard about dolphin but the only commercial games available are SSBM and SMS(super mario sunshine)???? thats not bad....but doesnt it constantly desynch and crash? |

YES!!!! After 17 hours, 4 minutes, and 26 seconds of downloading, I finally have Super Smash Bros Melee on my PC!! Everything works well, but UNFORTUNATELY, I DON'T HAVE A JOYSTICK!! Can anyone tell me how to put in keyboard controls, or hook me up with a PC gamepad?!?!? I WILL THANK YOU!!

Uh oh.........Can anyone tell me why Dolphin runs SSBM at a rate between 4-7 FPS?? It doesn't make sense, especially when the program says that all my hardware is great and works well. ANYONE?!?!?!
