Halo wars will feature 6 player online matchesThe latest issue of GamePro has revealed that Halo Wars will support six player online muliplayer games on Live. The mag also confirmed that it will feature two-player online co-op play. Ensemble designer, Dav Pottinger, said the strategy decisions remain in the game, but the game style is more adrenaline-filled. The game is set to be released later this year.
Also of note was the revelation of the title's resource system. Unlike other RTS games which might have you gathering wood, iron, or Vespene gas, Halo Wars only requires "supplies". The single resource system is meant to streamline action and keep things simple but stategic, allowing players to focus on battle over preparations.
