PS3 trophy cards leaked?
The PlayStation 3 has recovered a lot of lost ground in recent months and though the monolithic console was generally held to be the weakest of all the consoles a while back, the success of Blu-Ray and the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 has done a lot to get Sony's black beastie back nearer the top.
One area where the PlayStation is still possibly a little weak though is in the online capabilities, especially with the on-going delays to Home. Sony appears to be on the case though and recently leaked images could show what the console maker has in plan for PSN if rumours are to be believed.
PlayStation fan-blog PS3 Fanboy recently manage to get hold of a gallery of images showing what appears to be a 'Trophy Card' for the PlayStation 3 - a system which seems similar to Xbox's Gamercard.
While still unconfirmed, the images seem to show trophies and levels similar to those we know are planned to be featured in Home and other PlayStation network updates.
Most intriguing of all is that there seems to be not just a trophy-gathering aspect involved in the system, but also a leveling feature that may make the trophy card a little more involving and competitive

The trophy cards gonna be fun.
But what I want is the ability to message friends on PSN while I'm playing a game. Because it's really a pain in the [mod edit] to quit the game just to reply to someone's message.

See, 360 is ahead, in game messaging was offered 3 months after 360 released. I remember how revolutionary it was when my 360 still stood (Jessica  ) But now... *sigh*.

And that's why you guys pay money. On the other hand PSN is playing the catching game while providing the services for free.
Here is a list of the features that will be available with 2.40 update which is rumoured to come within 3 weeks period.
Features accessible via the in-game XMB will (if the rumor is correct) include:
* Friend category
* View, send, receive messages
* Manage downloads
* Set the vibration feature of the controller
* Sign in to PlayStation Network
* Register friends
* Manage Bluetooth devices
* Terminate the game
* Music category
* Use the system BGM
* Work the system BGM operation panel
* Settings category
* Assign controllers
* View profiles
* Game category
* Set audio devices
* Use the voice changer

Every time I video record my game starts lagging way too much. How the hell am I suppose to record a kill if I can't [mod edit] move properly.
