The Wii doesn't seem to do too good this year. The only good game that I know of is Brawl. Maybe Mario Kart Wii, but I got no clue what other games will make the Wii shine. |

the only good exclusive games worthwhile of playing on 360 r Bioshock halo 3 and gears and thats pretty much it.....now lets argue online wise

Bioshock isn't exclusive and so is Gears of War. The only exclusive game u listed was Halo 3 and that will probably come to PC. |

and In terms of online, the wii is garbage. Their only online shooter, Medal of Honor heroes 2 is only considered playing cus there are thirty players online. Mario kart wii will probably provide with the best wii online experience once it comes out.
I believe PS3 is winning the war. Within the next year, tons of new, great games including Medal Gear Solid 4, FFXII(maybe 2009), and Resistance 2 kill the 360 software. One new mentionable release for 360 though is lost odyssey, and the commercial looks nuts. I look forward to playing that if I could. |

well I would expect brawl to have excellent online  and you mentioned the wii becoming barren....well mostly that's true but that's just because the wave of sequels have ended now they have ot come up with new games like every other new console did(all good wii games were sequels from past consoles:metroid,mario,mario kart,brawls,resident evil a port from the ps2..)so producers need to take a step to make new gamesl ike the ps3,360(mass effect,resistance,drake's fortune,little big planet,prototype,lost odyssey.....etc...)

thats exactly what i mean.
And brawl's online isnt perfect. No names during brawls other than friend matches, no in game ranking system, no matchmaking. Thats everything Mario Kart Wii will have, which is the main reason why im pumped for it. Not as much as brawl though. |

Something is bothering me about your arguments. You guys seem to post games that aren't exclusive and use them as great games on the said console. It doesn't work this way. Resident Evil 5 without a doubt a great game, but seeing how it's coming to both 360 and PS3, you can't use it as a factor to determine that PS3 is better or 360 is better.
Now I'm still looking for a list that comapre the consoles exclusive games. |

this is a "CONSOLE war"not pc and that's what the topic was intended for anyways I just read an article saying RE5 is also coming to 360....which just pisses me off lol I mena they laready stole sony only series like DMC,GTA and now RE?(well it was on the wii..)as for the PC it doesn't really have much exclusives like fallout which is on the ps3 so it only has like WOW expansions,starcraft 2(a bit more RTS's),some random shooters and spore so I asy even this year PC can't beat ps3 releases as long as the "anticipated" ps3 releases offer at least half worth of all the promotion they are getting... | ||||||

I bought an xbox about 1 week ago, main reasons where Xbox Live (yes even though you pay for it), the looks and the controller.
As for games, why should I worry about great exclusive games. Those few rare titles that are coming exclusively, aren't worth buying a whole new console for. And since both consoles (leaving wii out) bring their own strong exclusive games it doesn't really matter anyway. Fact is that the PS3 will eventually beat the Xbox360, since it's newer and has better hardware inside. But for now, they are almost the same, and they will be for a long time. |

well I could argue that more thna 80% of the exclusives were nothing special  the one's I named are one of the few great ones this year but the "great" exclusives coming on the ps3 will be better and more in quantity..

Why does everything have to be x console is better than y console. Honestly, it's all about preference. Personally I got the 360 because I'd had an xbox and liked the controller and how fps's worked on it (I don't want to waste my time playing rpg's on the consoles. that's why I have MMO's, and real ones at that, on the PC. Platformers are pretty much for the younger people who can't play the nice shooters, and lazy people). I wasn't too crazy about the 360 controller, but it works nicely on any game I've played so far on the system. Especially the grip is awesome. And before you fanboys jump on me, I hate microsoft, but they have halo, cookies, and actual grip on the analog sticks. Come on, we're in the 21st century, would it be that hard to make Sony's controller a little larger and put grip on the bloody analog sticks. Every good game almost uses them, so any time now would be just fine with me... And as for the Nintendo Wii, I've never really been a fan of nintendo stuff except for pokemon when I was younger, the n64's goldeneye, metroid, and super smash bro's. The idea of the system is catchy though, and the pricepoint is nice. I don't like mario, and the graphics of a system actually matter. I don't want something where I can't tell what's in front of me if I walk to my couch. I have bad eyes, and bad graphics just make it worse. Personally I wouldn't class the newest entry by nintendo into the next gen slot, I'd call it like "50% better than a gamecube!", as it just doesn't have the power of the other systems to put it in line technologically. And PC's outperform every console because of the wider market. Consoles are specialized, and PC's can be modified to game better than them; mine doesn't count 
On a total sidenote... how can you play Cod4 on the ps3 rasengan. I feel sorry for you. ( Resistance and Warhawk <3) ANALOG GRIP FO LIFE |

hey come on the ps3 controller is light and for people used to it(like me....)I find it better I really find the 360 controllers clunky,big and awkward as for analog grip I have no idea what you are talking about.....anyways for games like DMC4 they even said the six axis controller is better for it(Badie showed me an article related to that by mistake....)...as for the wii it does have graphical abilities proven by games like mario galaxy and metroid where the graphics were awesome....and what you said about platformers is not true they are awesome and in a different category from shooters(like ratchet and clank,mario...one of the best games..)and RPGs on consoles are also fun(do you dare forget final fantasy>.<)
All in all I think you are just a shooter fanboy if not a microsoft fanboy lol just joking....but you do only like pretty much only shooters and eve online>..> |

@Phatkav: Most platformers are rated E for everyone, involving mostly simple timings of jumping up and down onto certain things, and the stories are simple enough for a 4 year old to understand. nuff said. There are however a small minority of them that are a little more story intensive... I used to love spyro and crash bandicoot before they horribly butchered them. I still find them fun, just they're targetted to the small people on the knobby pegs.
@Zaraki: it doesn't matter that the six axis controller is whatever. It's a good controller, but could be so much better if it was a little larger and had grip. I'm pretty sure I just said I don't want to waste my time on there when I pay for other things that waste my time for me. Personal opinions can't be argued with, you might as well go fix the door first

lol the difference with your pics is the ps1 controller looks clearer....(taking photos of your controllers  )anyways I may agree on the grip ananlog thingy but I like it small and light.......

The ps3 controller is light but iv been use to them ever since and plus its going to be heavier since the rumble is going to be inserted in the new dualshock 3. The 360 controller looks great but iv used it for 2 hours today and my hands start to hurt.....why maybe because it is a little to big. When i play on my controller for HOURS i experience no pain....strange isnt it
