Okay lets give some rankings to some of the rpg's i would reccomend buying for the GCN & DS since both emulators are not in full run:
-Yes, I know im explaining it longer than usual, instead of just naming- Nintendo DS: First Final Fantasy III would be the best choice, you probably heard of the series, if you haven't then now you have.......This would be one of the best choices with its legacy of expanding the rpg gaming into a new expectation everytime. This Final Fantasy will make the wait for Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings way easier to wait for. Second would be Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time, their original battle system has been a great success, you can dodge attacks by pressing at the right time and if not dogding blocking, and if you mess up you won't block which makes it fun. Third would be Children Of Mana, it may not be out yet but just wait till Halloween and it'll be out, maybeh someone will give copies of this game away instead of treats. That'll be NICE. Fourth would be LostMagic, it may not be the best adventures but with its unique concept they can build on this and make rpg on the ds go beserk. Fifth would be Magical Starsign, you can play this while waiting for Children Of Mana ^_^;;. GCN: First would be Tales Of Symphonia, now its cheap and the best rpg for GCN, with its storyline that'll shock you and make you laugh, its graphics are GREAT, Voices are perfect, Dungeons are amazingly complex yet can be figured out. This would be the best choice out of any rpg for GCN, I can't tell you everything thats great about it. Second would be Baten Kiatos: Origins, its card battle system has change from its first one, but has greatly improved, the voices hav now been perfectionized, their graphics are just AMAZING. This will not disappoint you. Third would be Baten Kiatos: Eternal Wings & The Lost Ocean, it may not be as great as the prequel but still has great storyline, a cool battle system and more. Fourth would be Fire Emblem, this should've been heard of... it has its original battle-system as usual, but this storyline is just totally amazing. |

I've heard of Ragnarok. Its also a manga.
There's another RPG I know. Its a shooter, but its amazing. It called Gunz: The Duel and its for PC. You could create and customize a character and go around in online battles. Fight with your friends, or with others across the world. Of course, you'll need an able computer to play it. ITs Free. Search Gunz in google. Another excellent RPG is Maplestory. Its a 2D Side Scroller, but fun. Fight monsters, and customize your character. Its also free to play. Just download it. |

Even though I am a Nintendo Fan i do say that......-consoles only-
PS3 has most of the rpg's out there... espescially with Final Fantasy....... Xbox has the second most rpg games......i never really tried them...so.......i dont noe how good they are Nintendo has the leasts....i would really like more, i hope they'll be more for the Wii......but with the launch coming up i can already see so many RPG games coming out........ PS3 will continue with the franchise thats extending RPG's to the outer reach but Wii will make RPG gaming into a WHOLE NEW WORLD......... |

For the wii, I'd like to see a pokemon RPG. Many have talked about it on the gamespot forums. It'd be great. You'd have your Mii profile, which will practically be your trainer card, and you can go around playing online battles with many across the world! It'd be awesome, just like you said, FDA. | ||

Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess is probably gonna be the biggest game this year....its stellar graphics are gonna get you stunned on your seat, playing it all night long, without doing your homework..The designs of the dungeons in The Legend Of Zelda series are complex and great, you can't find alot of dungeons that are better than LOZ's....LOZ's storyline is always a killer, you can play this game over and over but, you won't get bored....

Square-Enix,....if you haven't heard of this then you are probably not even a gamer. Square-Enix is the company which leads RPG with its series of Final Fantasy. Their best Final Fantasy was VII which was 7, lucky number......the main character in this Final Fantasy was Cloud, a fighter who helped a evil organization until he changed sides....There's a hell lot of more Final Fantasy's to come like Final Fantasy III which had not come out for U.S.A so now their remaking it, making it 3-d, improving the gameplay, and perfecting the storyline.......

It's true that pokemon is one of the best rpg games in our generation but......its getting a bit boring, because the moves get repeated.....like Ember......blah sorry pokemon fans.....im not one of u but I say pokemon is on of the best rpg's.......Atlus is now making big debuts with their rpg games like Riviera, Summon Night, Yddgra Union......these are all made by Atlus and I hope Summon Night: SwordCraft Story stays alive....not much rpg's can compare to it......Well here are some of the best rpg's (series) in our generation......
Final Fantasy Summon Night Baten Kiatos Tales Of -name- Dragon Quest Legend Of Zelda Mario (Paper Mario/ Mario & Luigi Superstar <--those kinds) There are many more.......^_^;; Maybe one of you can post a list of some best rpg's for the comp's.... |

Try......Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.....its different than usual though its not developed by GameFreak......
Good Points: -As usual the storyline is Great! -The Gameplay has been changed but has kept the basic things like moves -Answer questions to choose your pokemon Bad Points: -When an enemy is near your screen.....you take turns moving... -The dungeon music is a bit over repetitive -Takes quite some time to get used to the gaming...... Recommend: If you aren't a really patient person.......JUST DON'T PLAY THIS.....cuz you'll be like losing if you don't think.........and i reccomend not playing the anticipated rpg game *Yddgra Union if your one of those who are.....hit and destroy then laugh in evil laughter.......you'll hav to actually think in Yddgra Union...... Note*: It is not out yet...... |

Tales Of Phantasia Review!! =D......
In Tales Of Phantasia, you are Cress, a apprentice swordsman. When you go hunting with your friend, Chester, the alarm for your village rings. When you get back you find your village destroyed.... The gameplay is Real-Time Battles, which is the best rpg gameplay I love. The voice overs are not perfect but is good for a game that had been made in the 1900's. The graphics are not the best but it would be perfect since its an oldschool game. But the best part about this game is..., It's PERFECT STORYLINE, it starts off slow but when you get about maybe %10 if the way you'll get addicted. If you doubt old school games then you'll get laced so hard by it.
Overall: 8.7 Graphics: 8.4 Voice/Sound: 7.5 Storyline: 10 Extras: Unknown (Not finished yet.......Only like %35 done and have been abusing the game like crazy!) |

Final Fantasy III is out for the DS, Final Fantasy XII is coming for the DS, Final Fantasy Crystal Chrionicles: Crystal Bearers is being made for the Wii, Dragon Quest is also being made for the Wii... It seems as though the TOP RPG Fantasy Developers are bringing a lot more games to Nintendo!!
If you have the PSP, I recommend buying Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for the PSP, it is a great rpg made by Square Enix with an awesome gameplay, a good storyline and Great Sprites!!...^_^ |

If his comp has a good graphics card then get Gothic III, I never tried it because my graphic card is too low but it seems fun. Or Oblivion is another great RPG Darimi has a lot of games he can play, like finishing the LOZ:TP.....I want it =( | ||
