Soccer vs. FootballSo since I don't want to ruin the other topic in the Off-Topic section, I decided to make a new one.
So bashmo just how football is better than soocer.
Also animeking and bashmo if you put Pokemon into this discussion, you will just be proving can't discuss or prove anything. In toher words you will be saying "I suck".

Football is better then soccer end of discussion.... Football is better because the players get beat up lol... devise great game play.....Football is all about strength, agility, speed, and defense while soccer you just kick the ball around and kick it to the goal.... BOARING!!!!!!!!

I didnt say Soccer was better than football. I SAID that football is great and that you need to watch it to understand. PLUS you are also from Mid-east and have played soccer all your life...I mean, do you really think that people who live in Iran are interested in whether or not the Bears will beat the Colts?
Anyways, Soccer wins, hands down. I'd much rather watch the final of the world cup than the super bowl...plus Soccer is the most famous sport in the world! GO ZIDANE!

Very Fun
You can use a lot of parts of you body
Dated, old, famous
World Cup is known throughout the globe
Cons
Worldcup comes once every 4 years
Not all countries are in WC or games leading to the Cup.
And thats it. Only 2 cons, and 5 pros, soccer is leading.
Basketball:Pros
A very local sport in NA
Cons:
ONLY in NA and a couple of other countries.
Not enough players compared to soccer.
You can only use your hands.
Lots of rules(can be stressful for a beginner)
With 4 cons and 1 pro, basketball loses.

That's why the World Cup is popular, attract a lot of viewers, very hyped, and makes everybody in the world looking for it. If they ever make the World Cup every year, then it would suck hard and become just like a regular league.

What are you talking about? Do you even know how countries get qualified to the World Cup? every continent holw some sorta of a tournament and the winners get qualified. So that means every country can qualify, but it depends if they are good or not.

Buddy, ther eis a reason on why it's called World Cup. Also these small countires can get recognized in other ways. It's not like the World Cup is the only soccer event.
I know you are on my side, but your cons seemed just wrong.
