Wiihabilitation!!Some call it "Wiihabilitation." Nintendo's Wii video game system, whose popularity already extends beyond the teen gaming set, is fast becoming a craze in rehab therapy for patients recovering from strokes, broken bones, surgery and even combat injuries.
That's right the wii has yet again changed our lives again, an expert would say Using the game console's unique, motion-sensitive controller, Wii games require body movements similar to traditional therapy exercises. But patients become so engrossed mentally they're almost oblivious to the rigor so while you are having fun you don't get the sense of movement if you aren't....
these are the most popular sports used for this  baseball, bowling, boxing, golf and tennis...so although the makers never intended or even suggested this it seems like people are making uses of it in their different ways and this could hint the growth of the wii ni a different sector/target market!!

what don't you get???they are using the wii sports games in rehab games since you are exercising and having fun at the same time which is good for your body and takes you off the actual physical work you are doing...

But that only helps for people who break their arms...How does it help with the other injuries?

if you are in rehab for anything they make you play and then you get your mind of w/e your in rehab for and your having fun and getting better at the same time lol

Well you would me moving your legs, neck, and other body parts.
Do these stuff actually work or is it just some BS?
Too bad those people only play Wii Sports. They are missing out on the real fun

well seeing how they are using it on rehab programs nintendo may even try making sure making rehab only games that are still fun and benefit the patients ot the max...

They also say how Wiis are causing many injuries and T.V accidents lol one mom was on the T'V with a black eye being interviewed seriously I was laughing like crazy such noobs flailing around the nunchucks...

the scary thing is they would probably succeed in suing Nintendo I mean in a country where McDonalds is sued for hot coffee and some adult sues the school board for being hit by a student(while they were playing soccer and she walks in the middle of the game>.<)anything is possible...

Or in a country where a thief tries to break into an empty house to rob them. Gets suck in the garage for weeks until the house owners come back. After that he sues them.
