The ending is the best part.

Even though I wished that a certain character wouldn't die halfway through the series.

Yep
I was really surprised when he died. A lot of people also complained that after his death, the series had gone downhill.

i didnt think a dub would be as good as yuyu hakusho, but deathnote dub is sweet.

Well yeah, but then after that the series kinda dragged on (I think). I preferred if the manga ended at Volume 7. If you read the manga then you will know what I'm talking about.

dub wasn't too good hated L's voice and light's too......dragonball z and kenshin are still the best dubbed out there.....

Duel Masters had the best dub. Seconded by YGO 
I only watched couple of sub episodes. Never bothered with dub anime ever since Naruto

hmm I hated how they changed yugioh opening though they sound awesome in japanese....

Woooah slow down people, Yu YU Hakusho had the BEST dub EVER, if you watched all 112 eps like i did, then you would know.

I never finished the series and not planning on doing so.
I read the manga till L dies.
And really I feel this is the proper ending. After his death, I read like couple of chapters then I just gave up. However I do know the ending.
