Which do you think is a better RPG franchise? Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest.
I haven't played any DQ games except some old ones that really sucked hard. As for FF, I really like the sttyle of the gameplay.
So for now, I will go with FF until I buy DQIX for the DS.

both these games have a completely different style although final fantasy is way better........I played dragonquest 8 for about 40 hours(on ps2)the game is pure fun although it migth seem too simple and cartoony for some but it's like a nice classic and always gets high ratings while FF is just awesome especially the storylines(of most of them..)) _________________ I'm obssessed now over something you'll never find out =P |

it's completely turn based and at first the game seems stupid and extremely limited later on you discover a huge world(could play up to 100 hours..)and it's really simple...../ _________________ I'm obssessed now over something you'll never find out =P |

I played the olds ones I think.
Where you can add characters to your party and give them jobs or specialty. It was horribles once every 10 sec you encounter an enemy. _________________ "Anything that humans can imagine is a possibility in reality" - Physicist Willy Karen

lol yep lots of that that's why in DQ 8 they give you lots of faster transportation and repellents like the bird you can ride(huge golden one..),boat and this sabre tooth hybrid....but FF is still better by a lot both high rated but DQ is just meant ofr fun FF is more hardcore with WAY better stories....
